- Demolish the structurally challenged portion of the high school and build a two-story addition with classrooms, special education areas, and a library.
- Build the main office with improved security, as well as space for art classrooms and locker rooms (replacing the current basement area locker room)
- Demolish existing welding/metals shop and build a new tech ed (shop) area for welding, metals, and manufacturing classes
- Site updates, including parking
*Updates to plumbing and HVAC and replacement of roof, ceilings, flooring, doors, and classroom cabinets.
- Renovation of existing office area to create a secure entrance and reconfigure for current middle school office needs (office originally built with separate elementary and middle school offices)
- Add exterior canopy and/or signage feature to emphasize main entry location
- Partial roof repair/replacement and replacement of exterior sidewalk, exterior and interior doors, ceilings, flooring, and classroom cabinets
- Site improvements to add a bus drop-off and pick-up area off of Walrath Street to improve traffic congestion
- Partial roof repair/replacement, plumbing updates, and replacement of flooring and classroom cabinets
Updates to equipment and major building systems identified to be in “poor” condition on facility report:
- Asbestos remediation
- Partial roof repair / replacement
- Plumbing updates to distribution piping, sanitary sewer, storm sewer, and fixtures
- Exterior masonry and concrete replacement / tuckpointing
- Update electrical service panels
- Exterior and interior door replacement
- Replace exterior windows
- Replace classroom cabinets
- Replace flooring
- Replace ceiling
