Market & Johnson has been continuing to pour concrete for footings and foundation walls. Market & Johnson foundation wall crew was able to finish forming and pouring the exterior foundation walls with concrete. They were also to emplace foundation insulation around the inside of the exterior wall of Unit C. The M&J Masonry Foreman came to the site on Wednesday of this week to begin planning out his processes to begin the masonry layout for Unit A.
Gerke Excavating continued with the interior excavation of footings ahead of our footing crew to keep them going. They also began to excavate the large footing/foundation wall area of Unit D that branches off of Unit A to get ready for our footing crew to begin forming and pouring the footings. Gerke also continued with dewatering the site. They also came into the interior of Unit A and backfilled as well as leveled off the areas around where M&J placed the interior footings to bring them close to grade. Towards the end of the week, they worked on backfilling the exterior wall of Unit C after M&J put the perimeter foundation wall insulation in.
B&B Electric continued with placing electrical sleeves (which will allow for them to pass their wiring through the walls) in the exterior walls around units A, B, & C. They also were able to hook up the temporary power box by the job trailers and get power to the job trailers after Xcel energy bored their power over from HWY 27.
Zimmerman Plumbing continued with emplacing sleeves in the footings/exterior walls for their piping systems.
